Degree Attestation: Pakistan to UAE

Pakistan → UAE

This corridor is one of the highest-volume attestation routes in the world, driven by Pakistani professionals taking up jobs in the UAE. The chain runs HEC → MOFA Pakistan → UAE Embassy → MOFAIC UAE.

The process, step by step

  1. Get your degree verified and attested by the HEC (Higher Education Commission of Pakistan). This can be done in person at HEC regional centres or online via the e-portal.
  2. Attest the HEC-verified degree at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) Pakistan.
  3. Get the document attested by the UAE Embassy / Consulate in Islamabad.
  4. Complete final attestation at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFAIC) in the UAE after arrival.
Insider tip

UAE-based representatives often handle the whole chain end-to-end. Compare quotes: Dubai agents commonly charge AED 1,500–2,500 for a job whose Pakistan-side cost is a fraction of that. Doing the HEC + MOFA steps through an Islamabad rep first usually saves the most.
